- Conor McGregor mocked Belal Muhammad after UFC 310 security didn’t recognize him as a UFC champion
- “Remember The Name” reacted and revealed the truth behind the incident
Conor McGregor trolled Belal Muhammad after the security seemingly failed to recognize that he was a champion at UFC 310. Muhammad quickly addressed the issue.
Conor did not let Belal get away
Following his decision win over Ian Garry, Shavkat Rakhmonov took the opportunity to call Muhammad out for a title fight. While everything seemed normal, Joe Rogan noticed that the event security was preventing the reigning welterweight champ from getting into the cage. Rogan then realized that the security didn’t know Muhammad was the champ Rakhmonov was calling.

As it turns out, McGregor was tuned in and immediately mocked Muhammad over it via a voice note.
“The security doesn’t know he’s the champ!” McGregor said while laughing hard. “Look at the state of this c*nt. The security doesn’t know he’s the champ. I’m not surprised, mother f**ker. He is an assh*le. Shut your mouth, you little dope, you barely got into the ring. They don’t even know you were the champ, you tic. Who’s this f*cking guy? ‘Who the f*ck is that guy?’ the security said.”

Belal said it wasn’t the case
In an interview with The Schmo inside his hotel room, Muhammad lifted the lid on his embarrassing moment. According to “Remember The Name,” it looked it but it wasn’t really the case.
Muhammad said the security was aware of who he is but they probably did not hear Rakhmonov call him out. Moreover, they assumed Muhammad was gonna attack Rakhmonov and that’s what they were trying to prevent from happening.
“Yeah, I don’t know, they thought I was gonna do, they thought I was pulling a Merab (Dvalishvili), like hopping over and going crazy or something like that. [But] No, he called me, bro! If someone calls me into the cage I’m gonna go in there, right? I don’t think (the security) heard it, they didn’t realise what was going on they thought I was going in to attack him, I’m just like, bro, chill,” the champ clarified.
This wasn’t the first time McGregor insulted Muhammad as he previously slighted “Remember The Name” over lack of wins via finish. It’s yet to be known if Muhammad will face Rakhmonov in his next title defense but it is certain that “Notorious” has been keeping himself posted about the welterweight champion.
