Conor McGregor Hints He’ll Continue “Launching Rockets” In 2019!

The Former UFC Two-Division Champion Conor McGregor Remains Highly Motivated For Comeback In 2019

The former UFC Featherweight and Lightweight champion, Conor McGregor, plans to fight again in 2019!

He took to his Twitter account with a hint – he’ll launch more “rocket fueled punches” in New Year! You can read the full tweet of the richest UFC fighter below.

I am launching rockets in 19’ #staystrapped

Conor McGregor had his last match on October 6, 2018, at the main event of UFC 229 PPV (pay-per-view). The Irishman lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov via submission in the fourth round.

Before that, Conor had a boxing match versus an undefeated star Floyd Mayweather Jr on August 26, 2017, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He also suffered a loss, this time via tenth-round TKO.

But, after all, Conor McGregor earned his place in history. He fought for the UFC Lightweight belt versus Eddie Alvarez at the main event of UFC 205, on November 12, 2016. After brutal right uppercut, he won that match and became the first fighter to hold titles from two divisions at the same time.

But, at the moment, Conor McGregor faces much bigger problem. He is under temporary suspension, and awaits penalty from Nevada State Athletic Commission for his role in UFC 229 post-fight incident. The NSAC hearing is expected to play out next month. It is very hard to predict the outcome.

As well as you know, Dana White stated the next logical move would be the battle between Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor, while Khabib should fight Tony Ferguson.

Older fans of UFC remember the first clash between “The Diamond” and “The Notorious”, which was held at UFC 178 on September 27, 2014. Conor won via first-round TKO. Poirier will look to avenge that loss if the two meet again.

What do you think, what happens next? Can Conor McGregor slip through with a light penalty by NSAC? Who will be his next rival?
