Conor Mcgregor Gifts Jon ‘Bones’ Jones His Proper Twelve Whiskey For UFC 232 Victory

Former Two-Division Champion Conor Mcgregor Sent Jon Jones And His Team Proper Twelve Whiskey After UFC 232 Victory

The Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones is arguably the greatest fighter the UFC has ever seen made a long-awaited Octagon return this past weekend (Sat. December 29, 2018) in the main headliner of UFC 232. ‘Bones’ stopped his old rival Alexander Gustafsson in the third round to reclaimed the 205-pound title in a convincing fashion.

Now Jones is champion again, and what’s a better way to celebrate as fellow UFC star Conor Mcgregor sent Jones and his team bottles of proper no. Twelve Whiskey.

That’s according to Yahoo Sports’ Kevin Iole, who spoke to Jones in the lobby of his hotel and said that Irishman gifted him bottles of Proper 12 Whiskey.

“Ran into [Jon Jones] in the hotel lobby and he said [Conor McGregor] sent him and his team a bunch of Proper 12 whiskey,” Iole wrote.

Conor Mcgregor received a bit of criticism on this move. Jon Jones who has a fair share of his controversies related to drug abuse which pretty much affected his MMA Career and Mcgregor who’s also known for outside the Octagon troublemaker. A fan replied to Kevin Iole’s Tweet saying Mcgregor is a bad influence to that Irishman reacts but promptly deleted it.

“I prefer the term ‘influential’” McGregor said when a fan said he was a bad influence.

After his recent win, Jon Jones is now 23-1 (1) overall. His only loss came via disqualification at (TUF) 10 Finale when he landed illegal downward elbow strikes on Matt Hamill back in 2009. Since then, he holds notable wins over the likes of Brandon Vera, Ryan Bader, Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Lyoto Machida, Rashad Evans, Vitor Belfort, Chael Sonnen, Alexander Gustafsson (twice), Daniel Cormier, and Ovince Saint Preux.
