Conor McGregor told the court that Nikita Hand, the lady who said he hurt her, was “full of lies” and that he didn’t cause the bruises on her body. He explained that they both came from the same part of Dublin and that she followed him on Instagram. She would send him messages sometimes, and he would reply.
“She didn’t get her bruises from me, as far as I’m aware,” Mr McGregor said.
On December 8, 2018, McGregor said he was resting and training before he decided to go to a party at District 8. While there, he went up on stage and took a photo, which he shared on Instagram. McGregor said Ms. Hand then sent him a picture of herself in a dress. He said it was a “friendly picture” and “slightly provocative,” asking where he was and telling him where she was.
Nikita Hand says Mr. McGregor and another man did something really bad to her in December 2018. She says Mr. McGregor hurt her in a hotel in Dublin. They found some of his DNA on her clothes and body. A lady named Dr. Charlotte Murphy checked the DNA from Nikita’s clothes and body after the bad thing happened. The DNA tests showed it matched Mr. McGregor’s. Dr. Murphy said that just finding DNA doesn’t mean someone said it was okay. Another man, James Lawrence, wasn’t connected to the DNA at all.
As of November 6, 2024, Conor McGregor is facing a civil trial in Dublin’s High Court, accused of raping Nikita Hand in December 2018. Dr. Murphy said that Nikita’s clothes were torn. A man named John McMahon, who worked with Nikita, said she came back to work but wasn’t feeling good and decided to stop working in May 2019. Another lady, Elva Breen, said Nikita was really scared after the bad thing happened and had trouble working with people.

On Wednesday, Mr. McGregor said Nikita wasn’t telling the truth. He said he didn’t hurt her and that when he left, she wasn’t sad. He also said Nikita was happy when they were together.
A lady named Danielle Kealey was there that night. She didn’t know Nikita very well but saw her and Mr. McGregor go into a room. She didn’t know what happened inside. She said when they came out, everything looked fine and no one seemed upset.
Mr. McGregor will talk again on Thursday when the trial starts up again.
