McGregor, whiskey entrepreneur is growing. Remember when Mac tossed after his fight with Floyd Mayweather? Now Proper No. Twelve whiskey is expanding to new markets.
Like this is classic Mystic Mac. Oh cool, Conor McGregor drinks whiskey after one of the biggest boxing/MMA fights in human history. Nope, that’s Mystic Mac calling his shot. Not here to take part, but takeover to the fullest right here.
Yesterday (Aug. 1) McGregor made the announcement that Proper No. Twelve whiskey is now available in Toronto and all of Canada. The only thing this video didn’t have was McGregor high fiving GSP or sharing sunglasses with Bret Hart.

“Shoutout to The Six! ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor here. Proper Twelve is now available in Toronto and all of Canada. Congratulations to the Raptors and all of you guys on dominating basketball. Shoutout to my man Drizzy Drake ‘The Champagne Papi,’ coming from me, ‘The Proper Don.’ Proper Twelve Irish Whiskey: now all over Canada.”
“I am proud to bring Proper No. Twelve to Canada where many of my fans and friends live. Many thousands of Canadians have asked for Proper, and we have now delivered our delicious blend of golden grain and single malt. This is pure liquid gold aged four years in Bourbon barrels,”
Would’ve went with “pure liquid gold all up in yo mouth”, but the point remains the same.
What does Conor McGregor making more money from whiskey mean for his UFC career? Well, here’s the thing. Mystic Mac is bigger than MMA and bigger than the UFC. He’s reached levels no other fighter, save for perhaps Ronda Rousey, has ever reached.
UFC is going have to pay up and open up their pockets if they want Mac back in the cage. Will the UFC stop being cheap? If you have to ask, you kind of already know the answer.
