Conor McGregor shared a rather confusing video with fans online, seemingly calling out former foe Max Holloway while focusing his camera on a patron that bore a similar resemblance to the former featherweight champion.

Some fans have suggested that the Irishman was three sheets to the wind when he filmed the video that begins and ends with him showing off his watch. In the time between, McGregor is heard singing the Rocky theme and trash-talking Holloway’s doppelganger.

“Oh my god, you guys. It’s Max Holloway, guys. Max! Max, bro. What’s up? [Laughing] Who’s that? The Rocky fella, yeah. [Singing Rocky theme music, zooming in on a picture of Rocky Balboa] … See you at the press conference. Taken everything I’ve worked for, motherf*cker. I’m going to fight your f*ckin’ ass.“

Holloway responded to the video tweeting, “Hahahah see you at the press conference indeed.”

Conor McGregor and His History With Max Holloway

Conor McGregor and Max Holloway are no strangers to one another, having met inside the Octagon back in 2013 before either of them captured the 145-pound title. McGregor scored a unanimous decision victory over ‘Blessed’ in their one and only meeting. The win came as part of the Irishman’s 15-fight win streak that eventually led him to his epic 13-second knockout of featherweight legend Jose Aldo at UFC 194.

Two years after McGregor’s title win over Aldo, Max Holloway would climb to the top of the mountain, capturing the title in a TKO win over Aldo at UFC 212. ‘Blessed’ defended the title three times against Aldo, Brian Ortega, and Frankie Edgar before dropping it to current featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski.
