Conor McGregor Breaks Silence On Twitter Throw A Hint At Lightweight Title Fight Against Tony Ferguson

UFC lightweight champion Conor Mcgregor finally comes out of his camouflage and spoken on twitter by posting a photo of himself as Tony Montana from the acclaimed movie “Scarface” a GTA-inspired cartoon picture. Looks like he is calling out newly crowned champion Tony Ferguson.

Tony Ferguson (24-3 MMA, 14-1 UFC) this past weekend claimed the interim lightweight title by winning the bout via submission against Kevin Lee (16-3 MMA, 9-3 UFC) at UFC 216. During his post-fight interview, El Cucuy called out Conor Mcgregor in a profanity-laden rant.

Dana White spoke to media in a post-fight interview at UFC 216, stated his preferences that UFC’s biggest star Conor Mcgregor to unify the lightweight title against newly interim champion Tony Ferguson later this year. Also further added Nate Diaz trilogy fight is just an internet speculation. So Diaz trilogy fight is slowly diminishing because today at the press conference of UFC 217 White said:

“The Ferguson fight is the fight that makes sense,”

Conor McGregor’s longtime coach John Kavanagh also posted on Twitter:

Tony Ferguson recently speaking to MMAJunkie radio and said:

“What (McGregor) needs to do is defend or vacate,” he said. “That dude’s got like less than a month. I mean compared to what UFC rules state, he’s got a year to start defending his belt. I’m more then ready for December. He said he wants to fight in 2017. I think the fans deserve it. I think I deserve it.”
