Someone Chucks Bottle At Conor McGregor During Press Conference
Conor McGregor may not have fought in the Octagon in almost a year. However he is still having to duck shots, as someone threw a bottle at him recently.
McGregor has been doing a media tour as of late. However, it is not to promote fights, but instead a sports betting website. Nevertheless, the conversation of his next fight did come up, with him announcing that it will be in January.
One of the stops in this round of media, was in Moscow, Russia. As a result, he recently dared the crew of his rival Khabib Nurmagomedov, to find him at the Ritz-Carlton. Subsequently, it appears that someone did just that.
In a recent video, uploaded to Instagram, McGregor is speaking during the press conference. At the time, he is talking about Russian markets, and some support he has received there. However, it was during this, the he was interrupted by a soda bottle being thrown at his head, by someone in attendance.

Luckily the person throwing the bottle does not have very good aim. As a result, the bottle flew past McGregor, not even coming close. Although this is not the first time McGregor has had bottles thrown at him during a press conference. Therefore, this was nothing new to the former champ.
We will have to wait and see, whether or not Conor McGregor actually fights in January. Currently the opponent being discussed is Donald Cerrone, but it is not official. So it is just a waiting game, to see his next move.
