You’ve heard of Car Jitsu, now get ready for Coffin Wars!

Over the years, organizations have attempted to put their own unique spin on MMA and submission grappling with 2-on-1 fights, petite women taking on 400lb streamers, or BJJ specialists going toe-to-toe in a very uncomfortable place—like the backseat of a Volkswagon.

Now, the folks over at Pro League Network are offering up Coffins Wars. Sadly, it sounds much more interesting than it actually is.

Coffin Wars is essentially two 90-pound streamers wrestling in an open coffin, one attempting to keep the other pinned inside for three minutes. Check out a clip below:

During the stream, one opponent freed himself from the snug situation, but frustrated fans on the live chat forced him back into the pit.

“In Coffin Wars, two fighters compete to escape,” the official rules state. “Each fighter takes a turn starting at the bottom of a grappling position and must escape the coffin to win the round. If tied after two, the competitors start a third round locked up on knees and each must try to escape.”

The Creators of Coffin Wars are Also Bringing Gorilla Wars and Slap Poker in 2025

If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, PLN also debuted Gorilla Wars where “two competitors face off in plank positions and attempt to knock the other down.”

Coffin Wars and Gorilla Games will join Slap Poker on PLN’s regular lineup next year.
