I wasn’t able to view a single episode of The Ultimate Fighter season 16. The last time I saw Mike Ricci fight, I was cageside at Bellator when he lost to Pat Curran. With that honesty aside, it seemed like these two deserved to be in the TUF finals, and Colton Smith took his chance in the spotlight and dominated Mike Ricci for almost fifteen minutes straight. We’re sure Mike Ricci will be back and much improved. How could you not be in a camp like Tristar? But tonight was Colton’s night, and he proved that with smothering grappling that nearly finished Ricci multiple times. Aside from a Hail Mary armbar attempt with thirty seconds left, Ricci did very little.
