Outspoken welterweight contender Colby Covington last fought at UFC 225 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside United Center in Chicago, where he cashed in big time after defeating former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos in a five-round war. ‘Chaos’ seems bound and determined to follow his heel persona wherever it happens to lead. He’s engaged in multiple public beefs with many people; he doesn’t want to let that go, even if its just a war of word with someone he is never going to get a chance to meet inside the Octagon.
Earlier this week, a Stockton slugger Nick Diaz criticise UFC for handing Brock Lesnar a heavyweight title fight against Daniel Cormier and its WWE bullshit on social media.
Earlier on Sunday, UFC interim welterweight champion Colby Covington, who is a big fan of Daniel Cormier, didn’t hold what Nick said, took to social media and drop a blow at him.
“[Nick Diaz] Holy shit I didn’t know you could tweet from prison?” Covington said in response to Diaz. “Watch your mouth when you’re speaking about the #NattyGOAT. You’re only beating women these days, you ain’t beating anybody relevant you fucking loser. Shut your fucking mouth before I shut it for you… homie!”

Diaz is out of action until further notice after facing a pair of felony charges in his time off. It’s highly unlikely that we will able to see their showdown down the road, as Nick doesn’t like to fight with wrestlers unless Covington continues his campaign of trash talk to win over his fight.
