- Colby Covington discussed his post-UFC Miami squabble with Paddy Pimblett
- “Chaos” wants “The Baddy” to stop mentioning his name
Colby Covington trolled Paddy Pimblett and ordered the lightweight rising star to stop mentioning his name just to gain engagements and relevance.
‘Chaos’ was not impressed
Speaking on his YouTube channel, “Chaos” addressed his verbal altercation with “The Baddy” at UFC Miami this past weekend. According to Covington, there was nothing impressive about Pimblett’s TKO win over Michael Chandler as “Iron” has been one of the most winless lightweight contenders in the UFC.
“Paddy wanted to say some sh*t when I was walking by, so I had to confront him. I had to let him know he’s a little b*tch boy. The combined losing streak of his last three opponents, look it up guys, it’s 13 losses in a row. He wants to act like he’s relevant and he’s a star? He’s a f**king nobody, bro.”

Colby warned Paddy about using his name for relevance
Convington went on to discredit Pimblett’s rise in the 155-pound division. In typical “Chaos” fashion, Covington warned “The Baddy” to stop using him to stay relevant. However, the former welterweight title challenger hinted at a possible showdown if Pimblett decides to move up to welterweight.
“You’re a nobody. You’ve never headlined an event, you’ve never done anything worthy, you’ve never been a top contender. You’re a f**king scrub. The only reason f**king people care about you is because you’re an Ellen DeGeneres-looking f**king scrub. And to be honest, it’s because you got a bowl cut and a English accent. That’s the only reason people wanna look at you,” Covington ranted.
“Paddy Pimblett’s a little b*tch. He needs to stop running my name through his mouth to stay relevant, because he’s just using me to stay relevant because he’s never accomplished anything. He’s never gonna get to a title fight. He’s never gonna win a title, period. He’s a f**king irrelevant bum. So, when he stops cutting all that weight and cutting chromosomes and he wants to come to a real man’s weight class, he can get his a** whooped. He needs to keep my name out of his mouth, otherwise, he’s gonna end up with my foot in his a**, and that’s a fact,” he added.
The TKO win over Chandler saw Pimblett retaining his unbeaten status under the UFC banner. He has now won seven fights in a row. On the other hand, Covington is coming off back-to-back losses.
