Covington didn’t hold back. He said:

“Of course he’s talking about me. He wishes he looked like me,” Covington said during a latest stream on his Twitch channel. “He wishes he had this kind of looks and was this beautiful and had this much respect. He has no respect. He lost all his respect when he started doing drugs and hitting pregnant ladies.”

Covington made it clear that he doesn’t think there’s much to respect about Jones, pointing to his past mistakes and scandals.

“There’s nothing to respect about Jon. He’s cheated his whole career, he’s cheated on his wife, he’s cheated on his taxes, so he’s a terrible person.”

Covington even went further to explain how he sees himself in a much better light.

“Of course he talked about a saint and someone who’s a law-abiding citizen like myself, someone who stands for law and order, someone who stands for the military, the troops, the Trumps.”

Covington added. Covington said, drawing a clear line between his values and Jones’ actions.

“So f*ck Jon Jones. He’s nothing.” Covington added.

Despite Covington’s loss to Buckley, he remains positive about his future. It’s been a tough stretch for Covington, losing four of his last six fights, including two title fights against Kamaru Usman. But even with these setbacks, he keeps a confident attitude. He reminded everyone that he’s still a fighter with strong values and determination.

This ongoing rivalry with Jon Jones isn’t going away anytime soon. Whether Covington’s next fight will bring success or more challenges, he’s sure to keep calling out his opponents and keeping the heat on Jones. The drama between these two fighters is far from over, and fans are sure to keep watching as the tension builds.
