Colby Covington Got Into A Near Brawl With Kamaru Usman, Ali Abdelaziz

Colby Covington Scuffled Ali Abdelaziz, Kamaru Usman In Las Vegas Casino The Day After UFC 235

Colby Covington was set to meet Tyron Woodley at UFC 235, but UFC replaced him with Kamaru Usman. Since then, Colby is not friendly towards Usman.

Colby even appeared at UFC 235 open workout where he took the megaphone and trolled Kamaru Usman. Then Covington followed Dana White to the casino and demanded an explanation for a title shot snub.

It seemed Colby’s behavior paid off, as Brett Okamoto from ESPN wrote that UFC told “Chaos” he’d fight Kamaru Usman for the belt.

BREAKING: I’m told UFC has already informed Colby Covington he will receive the first shot against newly crowned champion Kamaru Usman. No date or venue for you yet, but Covington will get the shot.

After Usman dominated Tyron Woodley and won UFC Welterweight title on Saturday night, things escalated between “The Nigerian Nightmare” and Colby Covington, but luckily the security was on a high alert. Look at the video below.

But things didn’t end there as “Chaos” followed Kamaru Usman to the Palms Casino where a fight nearly broke out!

Usman’s manager Ali Abdelaziz was yelling at Colby Covington, and after a bunch of pushing and shoving, he even tried to punch Covington. It even seemed Kamaru was trying to calm Abdelaziz down. (h/t BJPenn)

“Ali f**king swung on me,”  Covington can be heard telling somebody on the phone shortly after he, Abdelaziz and Usman were separated.

For now, it is unknown whether the Nevada State Athletic Commission will take actions against Usman, Abdelaziz, and Covington for this incident.

Please give us your thoughts on the incident. Do you expect some penalties?
