Former Bantamweight Champion Cody Garbrandt Is Back
Already stacked UFC 235 event got another intriguing bout added which is set to take place March 2, 2019, from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. On Sunday night ESPN’s Brett Okamoto reported that former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt returns to Octagon against Pedro Munhoz.

Immediately after Okamoto’s Tweet, Garbrandt made a comment which shows he’s ready for this bout.

Cody Garbrandt failed to regain the belt in his rematch against T.J Dillashaw back in August at UFC 227. Prior to the setback, ‘No Love’ lost the title to Dillashaw via second-round knockout at UFC 217 back in November 2017.
Meanwhile, Munhoz is coming off a first-round TKO of Bryan Caraway at The Ultimate Fighter 28 (TUF) Finale in November. “The Young Punisher” is riding on six victories in his past seven fights.
Earlier on Sunday TMZ claims that Jon Jones will return to Octagon to defend his title against rising light heavyweight contender Anthony “Lionheart” Smith in the main headliner of the card. There is one loophole here the fight is contingent on ‘Bones’ application of licensure being approved by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
The card is co-headlined by a welterweight title fight between Tyron Woodley and Kamaru Usman.
