Ciryl Gane is looking to bounce back and earn another crack at the heavyweight title after failing to dethrone Francis Ngannou at UFC 270. The opportunity has finally come for “Bon Gamin” as he is set to face No. 3 contender Tai Tuivasa on his home soil at UFC Paris this weekend.

Ahead of the fight, Gane assures everybody that he will be giving it all he got inside the octagon.

An all-out war

According to Gane, he has no idea how things will play out once he and Tuivasa meet inside the octagon. But the one thing he is sure about is he’ll be aggressive throughout the fight and fans can “expect everything” from him.

“I don’t know exactly [what will happen] my friend,” Gane told MMA Underground. “I’m so sorry. I don’t know exactly, but you can expect the ‘Bon Gamin’ style, like with the footwork. I’m in good shape and I want to land a lot. I want to make the pressure, so you can expect everything: KO, TKO, submission – everything is possible with me.”

A really dangerous opponent

Tuivasa is one of the most cheerful guys in the sport and Gane certainly acknowledges it. However, “Bon Gamin” is also well aware that behind that smiling face, is a “really dangerous” man.

“He is a dangerous opponent,” Gane said of Tuivasa. “He is a really dangerous opponent. Very tough. Really kind. He’s a good guy, really dangerous, and I think he’s very happy to be there also in Paris. I think he’s really happy, and I think you can expect a big war.”

With a win over Gane, Tuivasa will extend his hot streak to six fights in a row and will surely take a step closer to his first title shot. As for “Bon Gamin,” it’s a chance to redeem himself and show everyone that he’s still the No. 1 contender in the division. Who would prevail between the two colossal heavyweights? We’ll find out this weekend.
