Chuck Norris brought the Gracies to the US in the 80s and there’s video to prove it

Damn, I wish today would be tomorrow so I wouldn’t be jetlagged from that insanely long trip to Malaysia. If it weren’t for MiddleEasy, I would be hibernating in bed with a steady stream of drool hanging from my mouth. Instead, there’s a site that needs be tended to, which has made it impossible for me to take off a day in over three years. That’s right, screw your work/school holidays, we have none over at MiddleEasy. I wish Chuck Norris would descend from the sky and roundhouse kick the week hard enough until it creates an extra day for me. He would have done so back in the 80s, but the guy was too busy introducing Gracie jiu-jitsu to the entire country.

Back in mid 80s, Chuck Norris visited the Gracie family in Brazil and he was so impressed that he flew them to Las Vegas where they taught their first class in the US. You can credit Chuck Norris for bring jiu-jitsu to North America — he’s just that awesome, and now there’s video to prove it.
