Christian Leroy Duncan took the biggest name of his UFC run and left Oklahoma City with a clear decision over Jared Cannonier.
Duncan defeated Cannonier by unanimous decision on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. The scorecards were 30-27, 30-27, and 29-28. Duncan improved to 15-2-0, and Cannonier fell to 18-10-0.

Duncan made the fight awkward from the opening round with movement, front kicks, spinning looks, and quick resets. Cannonier found clinch time against the fence, but Duncan reversed enough positions and landed the cleaner offense when space opened.
The second round widened Duncan’s lead. He knocked Cannonier backward with a spinning kick, landed short elbows, and hurt Cannonier with combinations before the veteran answered just enough to stay in the fight. Cannonier got a takedown late, but Duncan scrambled to the back and ended the round in control.
Cannonier still pushed forward in Round 3, trying to turn the bout into a pressure fight. Duncan stayed mobile, scored in bursts, and kept the exchanges from becoming the heavy-pocket battle Cannonier needed. The scorecards showed Duncan winning with two 30-27 cards and one 29-28 card.
The win stretched Duncan’s streak to five. Cannonier, now 42, entered with the experience edge and years near the top of the middleweight division, but Duncan’s speed and variety carried the co-main event.
Earlier at UFC Oklahoma City, Chase Hooper submitted Mitch Ramirez, Fatima Kline swept Tabatha Ricci 30-27, and RJ Harris won his UFC debut.
