Chris Weidman firmly believes that his jiu-jitsu is greater than Anderson Silva

Who remembers that ‘Married with Children’ knock off that featured a dude living in his basement with a talking bunny? You guys know, Nikki Cox was in it — some bone-headed kid was the comedic relief? Dammit, did I just make all of this up? Did my mind fabricate an imaginary television series in order for me to write an intro to a video? Wow, shame on my consciousness for manifesting yet another television show based on a humanized plush animal. The fact is, Ed O’Neill has a black-belt under Rorion Gracie — and you don’t. Neither does Chris Weidman. Anderson Silva has a black belt under the Nogueira brothers, but according to Weidman we shouldn’t look at the color of belt to determine a person’s jiu-jitsu skill. Well then, that pretty much collapses the entire system of jiu-jitsu altogether.

We’re not sure if Chris Weidman is pulling a Chael Sonnen or if he genuinely believes everything he’s been saying regarding Anderson Silva over the past few months, but it’s entertaining nonetheless. In this JitsTV.com interview, Weidman talks about Anderson Silva and the multitude of ways he’s envisioned finishing the UFC middleweight champion.
