Chris Weidman Complains About Vitor Belfort’s Lack of Testing Which Prompts an Immediate Test

I guess you gotta give it to the NSAC for acting swiftly, right?

Wait, the cool kids are calling it the NAC now, right? Because the additional S is just too much to write out, even though we’ve all been collectively calling it that for as long as the UFC has been working with the Nevada State Athletic Commission. Guys, if it’s been wrong the whole time then we can’t steer this ship away from it, we have to accept it, live with it, we have to deal with the fact that we called it the NSAC and we are going to continue calling it the NSAC. Alright?

Sheesh.

UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman raised some concerns yesterday morning about his next opponent, Vitor Belfort, not being tested properly for their upcoming fight. It seems fair, considering how Vitor Belfort has been surrounded by PED controversy for a long time now and even forced the NSAC (ha!) to make an official ruling on TRT earlier this year.

It’s a solid point, we gotta say that. Well, the NSAC (once again, take that!) apparently heard this concern and Vitor Belfort received his first random test on Saturday afternoon. While there is no explicit mention that the Champion’s tweets prompted this, c’mon. C’MON.

Color Weidman happy, though.
