  • “The All-American” gave the man a choice to pay or get choked out

Chris Weidman had to choke one of his poker buddies after refusing to pay $5K.

Weidman had to do it

The former UFC middleweight champion found himself in a surprising and intense situation during a poker game with friends. After some rounds of poker, one of his buddies apparently lost a total of $5,000. Weidman then presented him with a choice and it’s to either pay the sum or face the consequences of being choked out by a professional MMA fighter.

In a shocking twist, the poker player chose to forgo the payment. Instead of settling the debt in a more conventional manner, he willingly opted to be choked out by “The All-American,” which turned out to be a wrong decision.

As Weidman’s choke went deeper, the man slightly lost consciousness and ended up having some mild and brief seizures. It was a moment that left onlookers and even Weidman a bit confused and worried but relieved once the man regained consciousness.

Check it out below:

“He Lost in poker last night. It was either pay 5k or get choked unconscious! What do you do?,” Weidman wrote in Instagram.

Weidman is coming off a defeat

Weidman was just two weeks away from being TKO’d by Eryk Anders at UFC 310. After that devastating loss, the 40-year-old is now being urged by fans to call it a career and finally retire for good.

However, it appears that despite being old, Weidman could still put a grown man to sleep with his skills.
