It was an honor being able to witness Chris Lytle’s final fight in person, and It’s good to know that sometimes good things happen to good people. Chris is a good man. God fearing and a public servant. He has a solid Midwestern upbringing on football and corn. It’s that combination that serves as a foundation for the mettle that has provided him with countless ‘of the night’ bonuses. The storybook ending of Chris Lytle’s fighting career is about as satisfying as you can get outside of Hollywood, but there is a part of those Rocky endings we never see: the press conference. Yes, Rocky had to talk to the media after he defeated Apollo Creed. That’s how all of this works. So here is the less glamorous but still just as interesting extended ending to Chris’s career.
