Cheick Kongo explains why he opened a high-end women's fashion boutique in West Hollywood

If you Google ‘Fragola Cheick Kongo,’ an article we wrote earlier this year is the first result — and we’re damn proud of it. We’ve cornered the market on MMA fighters that open fashion boutiques. Looks like all those years of SEO has finally paid off.

There’s nothing to not love about Cheick Kongo opening up ‘Fragola,’ a high-end women’s fashion boutique in West Hollywood. We knew Kongo was a fashionista in the making when he showed up for his UFC in Sweden event looking like a slayer of the undead. We also have to give it up for Kongo for investing the cash he’s made in his UFC career on something sustainable and not going down the path of Allen Iverson — a guy that made over $160 million in the NBA and recently admitted to his wife that he couldn’t afford a cheeseburger.

MMA Heat’s Karyn Bryant visited Fragola to catch up with Cheick Kongo, something we theorized doing but never actually made our thought into action. Check it out.
