Check out this video featuring Randy Couture adding validity to his nickname

Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) has been making more headlines in MMA circles than the upcoming McCall/Johnson fight on the next UFC on FX card, which is a shame because that fight will be awesome. Seriously, stop worrying about what professional athletes put in their body for a second and stop to smell the flyweight roses. Still, I can accept this is a big issue which people want to know about since misuse can constitute unfair athletic advantage and technically constitutes cheating, just like eating a three course meal before playing pub golf when the rest of the players have only eaten microwaveable burgers. That’s why I think people should watch this video of Randy Couture talking about TRT.

At the end of this video, Couture tells us that he doesn’t want any of Junior Dos Santos and won’t be coming out of retirement a second time to reclaim the heavyweight title and I can’t blame him. At 48 years old, most men would be of the mindset. Hell, at 30 most men would be of the same mindset. While Couture’s verbal product placement would put TUF: Brazil to shame, he still has some good points to share regarding not only TRT usage in MMA but also the UFC heavyweight division and his own crossover from mixed martial artist to actor. He has nothing to say on the cheating prevalent in pub golf unfortunately.
