Just before LayzieTheSavage rolled the camera in this Evgeni Kogan interview, he told us that MiddleEasy nearly collapsed M-1 Global at one point in 2010. Granted, we were just reporting on what we were being told from our sources, but last year it appeared M-1 Global had one foot firmly placed in that infamous MMA graveyard that we’re all been reminded of over the past few years. In our first interview, we asked the questions that we thought mattered, and it created a certain rift between M-1 Global and MiddleEasy. It wasn’t intentional, after fighters told us they weren’t getting paid and with reports that their Amsterdam office shut down, we literally were just trying to figure out what the hell was going on. Now a year later, Evgeni Kogan has stopped trading jabs with us in the media and has finally decided to drop all beef and grant MiddleEasy a highly unlikely interview. Check it out.
