Some of you out there are clamoring for a Jon Jones vs. Alexander Gustafsson rematch. Quite frankly, both fighters took years off their career from the damage they sustained at UFC 165 — just to entertain you. These guys aren’t renewable natural resources. Their bodies went through the equivalent of getting smashed with Thor’s hammer repeatedly on the head for 25 minutes. Let the MMA history books just ride this one out. We saw something great last night, there’s no need to replicate it. They’ve earned our money, now let’s move on.
