Check out Nick Ring talking about how silly he looks in cowboy hats and what it’s like being a hero

Remember the time that Nick Ring saved a helpless couple at a Canadian bus stop from a dangerous group of annoying teenagers? Until now, the only account of this story has come courtesy of the Calgary Herald. Sure, everyone in the MMA media picked up on the story after the UFC issued us a press release, but to our knowledge, this is the first time since the crime went down that someone in the media held up an expensive HD video camera while a reporter shoved a microphone into Nick Ring’s face and asked him to tell us the story in his own words. We know most Americans love listening to Nick Ring talk about just about anything in his Canadian accent, so check out this interview at the UFC 149 open workouts courtesy of MMA Heat. As an added bonus, we’ve started the video with everyone’s favorite TUF alum discussing how silly he looks in a cowboy hat as a prelude to the heroic storytelling.
