Another Summer, another MMA film being launched directly at your optical nerve. Two years ago we had Warrior (which according to IMDB is considered the #154 greatest film of all time) and last year there was Here Comes the Boom, otherwise known as ‘That movie in which Mayhem Miller went absolutely bonkers.’ Now in 2013 we have another MMA gem called ‘TAPPED,’ and it stars two of the greatest ass-demolishers ever to emerge from Brazil: Lyoto Machida and Anderson Silva.
We don’t know much about the film (other than it was filmed in Toronto), but according to the description on YouTube page, it seems like another revenge movie.
A disgruntled teenager, sent to do community service at a rundown Karate school, enters an MMA tournament to face the man that killed his parents.
We’re assuming Anderson Silva and Lyoto Machida will serve as instructors for this disgruntled teen. That is, unless they actually killed his parents — in which case he can sort of wave that ‘revenge’ stuff goodbye.
