Rory MacDonald’s poker face has a poker face. The guy operates like he never discovered the concept of laughter. If home is where the heart is, the Rory MacDonald is friggin’ homeless. If aliens landed on this planet and looked to Rory MacDonald to give them a basic lesson in human emotion — our entire species is screwed. If Rory stopped ripping through the welterweight division and ceased his MMA career — the dude would be an inanimate object — one that scares the hell out of little kids for no apparent reason.
Rory’s stoic personality isn’t some schtick that he developed since joining the UFC in 2010. Not at all. He’s been like this ever since he had his second MMA fight at the age of sixteen in King of the Cage. Now that we have video of his 2006 bout, you have yet another reason to procrastinate just a little longer this Monday afternoon.
