It’s the moment you never thought would happen, mainly because you never truly believed the UFC would allow Chael Sonnen to be a coach on TUF Brazil, held inside Brazil. Shortly after Anderson Silva’s superb performance against Chael Sonnen at UFC 148, The Spider actually invited Chael Sonnen out to his BBQ in Brazil to which Sonnen hastily accepted inside the Octagon. A few days went by and while Silva did have his Brazilian BBQ (with his wife cooking medium rare steak, I assume), Chael didn’t show up to the party. Bummer, it would have been nice to see a little American/Brazilian unity in MMA since it’s virtually devoid in the sport.
Today during the UFC pre-fight media scrums in Manchester, England, Chael Sonnen made an appearance and thought it would be cordial to answer some questions regarding his imminent coaching gig opposite Wanderlei Silva at TUF Brazil, along with Anderson Silva potentially being one of his coaches in the reality show.
