Chael Sonnen says ALL of Wanderlei Silva fights in Pride FC were FIXED!

The theory that most (if not all) of the fights that were held inside the Pride FC ring in Japan were fixed is a theory that has been thrown around for years now. There’s actually a great documentary/book called ‘Freakonomics’ that gives statistics as to how nearly every sumo match that’s taken place in Japan since 1910 was fixed by the fighters to ensure they would be able to have a career in the sport. Therefore suggesting Pride FC fixed their fights is not out of the question. Let’s face it — Pride FC was run by the Yakuza, and some executives were even murdered over it. Sorry UFC, but that’s as real as it gets.

So were Wanderlei Silva’s fights in Pride FC fixed? Chael Sonnen surely thinks so, and he gives a pretty strong argument as to why in FOX Sports’ MMARoasted podcast. Props to Systemrecords for the +100 news tip. Start at the 39:40 mark.
