A couple years we brought to your attention Rashad Evans’ accusation that Jon Jones is indeed a ‘swagger jacker.’ At the time, his claims were baseless until we put on our Inspector Gadget hats and did a little investigative research (imagine that!) and found Jon Jones wore an outfit on The Jay Leno Show very similar to Rashad Evans. It was a clear evidence of swagger jacking — perhaps the text book definition.
Since 2011, we’re not sure how many incidents of ‘swagger jacking’ were committed by Jon Jones. From the crawling into the cage to goofy spectacles — we’ve literally lost count. Today, we have a new alleged incident, this time for a new party: Chael Sonnen. Last night on FuelTV, Sonnen called Jon Jones out on his tweeting and has given him a Disney-level speech on just being himself in this video.
