In this whole TUF 17 mess we forgot to consider the Hendo out there hurt by this entire situation. Imagine if you’re Dan Henderson – Pride middleweight and welterweight champ, Strikeforce light heavyweight champ, Pride GP champ, UFC 17 tournament winner, Rings tournament winner (in which he defeated Gilbert Yvel, Big Nog and Babalu in a single night) the only man to knock out Fedor, Olympian, one half of some of the greatest MMA highlights known to man and how can I forget – Frate Trane of 2011. I can keep going, I really can. Dan Henderson has the power to keep sentences running on forever with the length of his accomplishments.
But that doesn’t matter to Hendo, it’s time to go back to school. He was once the UFC light heavyweight number one contender but now that’s all gone, his buddy Chael has the shot after a stint on TUF (something Hendo already did and it got boss ratings).
