Cesar Gracie says Nick Diaz would fight Mayhem Miller at a catchweight

I once let a 230lb solid muscle, horsemeat eating, juicehead girl drill jiu-jitsu moves on me. The next day I couldn’t feel my face and I wasn’t sure if I would be able to stand up straight or walk without a limp ever again. She outweighed me by 100lbs, I don’t really know what I was thinking when I figured it would be a good idea to let her do that to me. That might have been a Red Bull, stevia and vodka induced decision.

Well, Cesar Gracie and Nick Diaz aren’t going to be making any silly decisions like me because they don’t plan on agreeing to any imbalanced weight class changes just to appease Mayhem Miller according to a recent interview with MMAJunkie.com.

“If that fight was offered, yeah, we’d probably take that fight,” he said. “We’d just have to look at what weight class it’s going to be in, and apparently, ‘Mayhem’ can’t make 170. We’re not going to accommodate going to 185. It doesn’t really make that much sense to call someone out, and the champ has to … go to your weight class.”

Being the champ of ‘Bully Beatdown’ doesn’t really make you a contender,” said Gracie, referring to Miller’s MTV reality show. “It doesn’t. If he were beating people that’s important, yeah. But the champ doesn’t need to move or down in weight because someone says, ‘Don’t be scared, homie.'”

Gracie is right, being the ‘champ of Bully Beatdown’ doesn’t make you a contender but what about beating Sakuraba? Does that make you a contender? What about not only beating Sakuraba, but being the first fighter ever to submit Sakuraba, besides Kimo Leopoldo? (RIP) [Source]
