Henry Cejudo Says He Wants To Fight ‘Tomato Can’ Aljamain Sterling, Sterling Responds

Cejudo calls 'Aljolame' Sterling.

Henry Cejudo makes another call-out… but this time it’s not of Alexander Volkanovski.

‘I’m Coming Back For These Tomato Cans’

With the former two-division UFC Champion now back in the USADA testing pool and his possible return looming, he is calling for a fight with the current bantamweight king, Aljamain Sterling

On Friday night, Cejudo sent a message to ‘Aljolame’ on Twitter.

“I’m coming back for these tomato cans and I’m going to right the wrong! Aljolame you the number one contender B*tch. @funkmasterMMA @danawhite,” Cejudo wrote. (or did he? We’re on to you Ali.)

Sterling Responds

It didn’t take Sterling long to reply. In fact, it was less than an hour.

“Lolololololol And LOL,” Sterling wrote.

Aljamain

It doesn’t sound like the bantamweight champion is too threatened by Cejudo. But why should he be? Sterling has been on an absolute roll since Cejudo retired at UFC 249.

Sterling is coming off a split decision title unification win over Petr Yan at UFC 273. ‘The Funkmaster’ has called for T.J. Dillashaw for his next opponent later this summer.

Cejudo has been calling out literally anyone and everyone – I’m pretty sure he called out my uncle’s brother, but no one cares. Cejudo wants a chance to become a three-division champion, but the UFC president doesn’t seem to be on board…yet. If he can’t get a shot at Alexander Volkanovski, he might as well go get the belt that he never lost.
