Cavalcante, Santiago, and the Villeforts leave ATT

What’s going on at American Top Team? We aren’t sure, but what we do know is that four major names from their fighter roster have suddenly gone missing like a homemade raft full of Cuban refugees goes missing off the coast of Miami. We can be fairly certain that JZ Cavalcante, Jorge Santiago and the Villefort brothers (Danillo and Yuri) have not been kidnapped by human traffickers and sold into prostitution. We are also pretty confident that a flock of rabid snipes didn’t wade out into the surf and attack them on their surfboards. Maybe they caught a rogue wave and are looking for Jack Kahuna Laguna to find their way back home.

ATT made a statement this morning on the UG regarding the split:

“Just saw the thread about JZ, Jorge and the Villifort brothers leaving ATT and the questions that arose. To be clear, these four made the decision to leave ATT. They were not asked to leave. They requested a meeting with team management, advised that they wanted to train elsewhere, and requested that ATT release them from their agreements. We accommodated their request. Any rumors regarding them being kicked off of the team are untrue.  We wish them the best of luck in the future.”

Wow. No statement has been made by any of the four that decided to make the split from ATT just yet. It is rumored that management changes might be the reason for the four deciding to split with American Top Team, but that is all still just speculation.
