Carlos Condit Puts His Retirement Plans On Hold

It looks like Carlos Condit is not ready to forget about Octagon completely. He currently targets an opportunity for a big return at the end of this year. The Natural Born Killer is known for many great fights and his legendary “spinning shit” controversy with Nick Diaz.

Despite Carlos Condit suffered his fourth loss in a row to Alex Oliveira via second-round submission, Condit put a comment on his Instagram which might mean a possible retirement after a 16-year-old run. (via MMAMania.com)

“I don’t know what’s next guys,” the 36-year-old Condit wrote on Instagram. “I still love this game, and most days I still feel that fire, I absolutely love what I do, but maybe my time has passed. I don’t know the answer. this is what I know, this is my passion.”

“I will never stop training, and If that leads me back to the Octagon, you know I’ll try to make it bloody for ya.”

But after one month, it looks like Carlos Condit has decided to follow his heart. It looks like Fighter Management Team revealed some different plans for the future, according to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto.

“According to Condit’s representatives at First Round Management, Condit recently informed them he intends to fight again and wants to return in November or December. He did not mention a potential opponent.”

Well, at least we know why his nickname is Natural Born Killer. A knockout specialist with a score of 30-12, and 28 wins by stoppage, Carlos Condit had his last spectacular brutal stoppage when he knocked Thiago “The Pitbull” Alves out in May 2015.

Who might be Condit’s next victim? Maybe it’s time for him to look for some fresh meat and test the power of his spinning back elbow again!
