The Grammy-winning star revealed her wager on two major combat sports showdowns — Tom Aspinall’s UFC title bout and Gervonta Davis’ return to the ring.

Cardi B has made her way into the combat sports spotlight — not in the ring, but at the betting window. The superstar artist recently revealed a $250,000 parlay backing Tom Aspinall and Gervonta “Tank” Davis to win their respective fights.

The post, shared with her 163 million Instagram followers, displayed her official betting slip and instantly caught the attention of fans, analysts, and fighters alike.

According to her wager, Cardi’s first pick hinges on Tom Aspinall successfully defending his UFC heavyweight title against Ciryl Gane this Saturday at UFC 321 in Abu Dhabi. Should Aspinall deliver the victory, her bet rolls into the second leg — a boxing matchup between Gervonta Davis and Jake Paul, scheduled for November 14.

If both fighters come through, the combined parlay could net the rapper around $460,000 in winnings.

Tom Aspinall Set for His First Title Defense

Aspinall enters the main event looking to cement his position as the top heavyweight in the world. The 32-year-old British powerhouse was elevated to undisputed champion following Jon Jones’ departure from the division and has quickly earned respect for his speed, composure, and finishing ability.

His challenger, Ciryl Gane, remains one of the most technical strikers in the weight class — a two-time title contender still chasing UFC gold. Gane’s past losses to Francis Ngannou and Jon Jones add extra pressure heading into this third shot at the championship.

UFC 321 marks one of the final pay-per-view events before the organization transitions to its new Paramount+ broadcast deal in early 2026, making the stakes even higher.

Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis

Jake Paul’s next opponent, Gervonta Davis, is not a retired legend or a social media personality — he’s an undefeated world champion in his prime.

The fight, set for November 14 in Miami and streaming on Netflix, will see Paul step into the ring with the WBA lightweight champion in what many see as his biggest challenge yet.

Paul (12-1) enters with size and reach on his side, but Davis (30-0-1) carries the kind of knockout power and experience that’s made him one of boxing’s top pound-for-pound names.

As Paul put it recently on X:

“Gervonta is one of the top pound-for-pound boxers in the world, but my motto is anyone, anytime, anyplace, against all odds. And I like my odds.”

Fight Rules Under Scrutiny as Concerns Rise Over Size Gap

The upcoming Paul–Davis fight has drawn attention not just for its star power but for the stark physical difference between the two men.
In their most recent respective bouts, Paul weighed around 199 pounds, while Davis came in just under 134 pounds — a staggering 65-pound gap.

Standing at 6-foot-1, Paul towers over Davis, who measures roughly 5-foot-5½.

To address these concerns, Tim Shipman, executive director of the Florida Athletic Commission, confirmed that the bout will have strict limits and modifications.

The fight will be capped at 195 pounds, feature 12-ounce gloves, allow knockouts, and include official scoring from judges — rules that make it far closer to a sanctioned contest than a typical exhibition.

However, some regulators have voiced unease about whether the matchup should even take place under those terms. Andy Foster, executive director of the California State Athletic Commission, commented that “it doesn’t sound like an exhibition” and described the situation as “concerning” given the massive weight difference.

Mike Mazzulli, former president of the Association of Boxing Commissions, echoed that skepticism, saying the bout “doesn’t really fit” the definition of a standard exhibition.

Cardi B’s high-stakes parlay adds her to a growing trend of celebrities taking an interest in major combat sports events. Artists like Drake have famously placed six-figure wagers on UFC and boxing matches in recent years — some paying off, others not so much.

While Drake has kept quiet since losing a large bet on Ilia Topuria vs. Charles Oliveira, Cardi seems ready to take his place in the betting spotlight.
