Cain Velasquez's reaction to Bigfoot knocking out Overeem was pretty...meh

Take everything you know about being an emo teenager, then apply the direct opposite to Cain Velasquez. He approaches life as if emotions were never instilled in humanity. The only hint of a smile we’ve ever seen from the UFC heavyweight was when we filmed him inside of a UFC-provided limousine less than twenty-four hours after he defeated Junior dos Santos at UFC 155 to reclaim his championship strap. He was pretty stoked to think about the possibilities of putting saddle bags on his newly-acquired Harley Davidson. See, that’s what a real man gets excited for — customizing his motorcycle. I get amped up when there’s a new episode of Hell’s Kitchen on. Sure we’re both males, but if Cain Velasquez existed 500 years ago the dude would be ripping out the heart of a jaguar he killed with a bone knife and eating the entrails raw.

That’s probably why Cain Velasquez hardly shows any emotion in regards to MMA. Let’s face it, do you get excited when your boss gives you a stack of papers to file? This is work for him and entertainment for us. Check out this behind-the-scenes video of Cain Velasquez reacting (or not reacting) to Bigfoot Silva knocking out Alistair Overeem at UFC 156.
