Well, ONE banned soccer kicks but it didn’t cut down on the excitement factor. Especially not when you have a Tazmanian Devil, tornado of terror going off by Burn Soriano. Mario Satya Wirawan came into this fight not knowing he was being led into a human blender of bone and backfist, but hindsight is 20/20, that is if the dude can still see straight.
As Soriano backed up against the fence, he waited right up until Wirawan was antsy enough to rush in after staying on the outside and unleashed his spin of death. The hammer fist at the end—right before being Goldberg speared by the ref—was just incing on an unconscious cake. All it took was 15 seconds and Soriano got his first knockout of his career.
