Bummer, the UFC is not using Bruce Buffer to be the announcer at UFC on FX 6

The syntactic structure of this tweet by Ian Bain of MMA Opinion is atrocious and if Noam Chomsky found out about this egregious error, he would be immediately sacrificed to the linguistic gods. It’s like this guy is a decedent of the Yoda tribe and their home planet needed a human representative to cover MMA and live in Newcastle, England. In fact, there’s approximately 726 ways to compose this sentence correctly — and Ted Malakhov knows every one of them. However, between those confusing words, there is true journalism — and it’s damn depressing news.

Apparently at the press conference today, Dana White announced that the UFC will not be using Bruce Buffer to be the announcer for UFC on FX 6: Sotiropoulos vs. Pearson (or ‘The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes’ for all you Brits and Aussies out there). Sad news, but I’m sure that with enough transcendental meditation, you will be able to handle one UFC event without ‘It’s Time’ (or the alternate, ‘It’s Fight Time!’).
