News like this makes you want to climb to the top of a mountain, throw up your arms and scream some four-letter word while eventually dropping to your knees and burying your tear-filled face in your hands. Damn, that’s a lot of things to do on an Easter evening. Maybe you should just kick over your 2-liter bottle of Sprite in disappointment. Earlier today an article on MMANyet stated Gustafsson suffered a cut and his participation in UFC on Fuel TV 9 was in jeopardy. Now it appears that Gustafsson will be unable to headline the card in his hometown, leaving Gegard Mousasi to shadow box in a cage for fifteen minutes.

Actually there have been no talk of replacements for Mousasi going into UFC on Fuel TV 9. The entire light heavyweight division is booked, injured — or simply don’t want to board a plane to Sweden and cut weight for a fight they’ve had eight hours to prepare for. You can’t blame them — Gegard Mousasi is a dangerous human being that fights like he’s forgotten what emotion feels like.
