Buakaw Banchamek scored this brutal 1st round body TKO in K-1 over the weekend

I can’t be the only person that feels the world is back to normal now that K-1 has climbed out of the financial hole it put itself in over two years ago. Since then, Glory has emerged as the premier kickboxing organization and has managed to do the impossible: dethrone K-1. Now technically people should call Anderson Silva’s striking ‘Glory-level’ instead. Of course, this could lead to other bizarre terms be adapted for MMA, like ‘Glory hole,’ which is something that SST probably knows about.

Over the weekend Buakaw Banchamek fought against Spain’s David Calvo in the first round of the K-1 World MAX 2013 World Championship Tournament Final 16. In just the first round, Buakaw scored his first stoppage this entire year by means of an absolutely brutal body TKO. Have a look at props to jt33 for the find.
