Bryce Mitchell can fight and he can farm, but did you know he can also drop bars?
‘Thug Nasty’ is one of the more polarizing figures under the UFC banner, much of it due to his never-ending barrage of socio-political commentaries and crazy conspiracy theories. But when he’s not fantasizing about overthrowing the government and forcing the Bible into every school’s curriculum, the featherweight standout stays busy working on his farm and busting out the occasional rhyme.
During a recent interview with The Schmo, Mitchell previewed a rap song he’s been working on and somehow, it’s not entirely bad.

Sure, the lyrics are a little cheesy, but with artists like Jelly Roll finding a ton of success in the Southern Hip Hop (yes, that’s a real thing) genre, who’s to say ‘Thug Nasty’ can’t score his own record deal someday?
Bryce Mitchell Talks Future Fight with Movsar Evloev
Thus far, Bryce Mitchell is a solid 7-2 inside the Octagon, though his last promotional appearance encouraged him to take a lengthy break from the fight game. Stepping in on short notice against perennial contender Josh Emmett, Mitchell suffered one of the most horrific KOs in recent memory, eating a brutal right hook in the opening round of their UFC 296 main card clash.

With Aljamain Sterling officially out of his fight against Movsar Evloev at UFC 307, Mitchell was asked if he would be willing to step in on short notice. While ‘Thug Nasty’ is definitely interested in fighting Evloev at some point, he’s not too keen on taking another short-notice fight considering how things played out the last time.
“Well dude, you know what happened the last time I took one on short notice. It was ugly so I’m wise enough to respect that I need a little bit more training. I want that fight. Give me two months. I’m down, that’s all I need. Give me two months. I think that’s fair to ask and if he really wants that fight, two months is really not that long of a wait for what they’re paying him.
“He can survive two more months without a paycheck so I think he should. I think he should fight me in two months.”
