Bryce “Thug Nasty” Mitchell hasn’t been in the ring since his tough knockout loss to Josh Emmett at UFC 296 in December 2023. Now, just days before his fight with Kron Gracie at UFC 310, Bryce went on a strange rant during the media day. Instead of focusing on his upcoming fight, he started talking about tech mogul Elon Musk and said some unusual things to the reporters.

Bryce Mitchell Reveals Why He’s Against Wearing Seatbelts

Bryce Mitchell is known for his quirky opinions and often surprises people with his unusual thoughts. When he’s not talking about his upcoming fights, he shares his thoughts on all sorts of things, even if they have nothing to do with fighting.

Ahead of UFC 310, Mitchell made headlines again, but this time it wasn’t about his fight. Instead, he caused a stir by ranting about his dislike for seatbelts, grabbing attention on social media as he promotes his next match.

“Seatbelts, I think it’s just like you get to choose if you wanna wear a seatbelt,” Mitchell said.

“The government, they don’t wipe my a** for me, and they shouldn’t be able to tell me if I want to wear a seatbelt.

“I personally don’t like them because I think, ‘What if you have gotta jump out of the car and duck and roll?’ Nobody ever thinks about that.

“I don’t personally wear a seatbelt. Growing up, my mom never wore one. I just don’t believe in them and it’s not up to the government if I wear a seatbelt or not. That’s just my view on it and that’s why I don’t wear them.

“I strap my baby in. You know, I strap Tucker in, but I just don’t like wearing them. I like the maneuverability.”

Kron Gracie is all set to make his comeback at UFC 310 after 19 months away from the cage. He’s hoping to break his two-fight losing streak and prove himself again. Even though there are big names on the card, Bryce Mitchell’s wild comments have helped him earn a spot on the main event too.
