Breaking News: Cris Cyborg Vs Amanda Nunes Title Match Slated For UFC 232

Cris Cyborg Vs Amanda Nunes Is Scheduled For December 29 in Las Vegas, Nevada

The long-time awaited super fight is finally set. The UFC Women Featherweight champion, Cris Cyborg, will try to defeat Bantamweight title holder, Amanda Nunes. The fight is officially slated for UFC 232, on December 29th, at T-Mobile Arena, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Cris Cyborg was already challenging Amanda Nunes but the fight didn’t happen. Amanda Nunes defeated Raquel Pennington at the main event of UFC 224 on May 12, 2018, via fifth-round TKO. Cris Cyborg ran Yana Kunitskaya over at the main event of UFC 222 on March 3, 2018, winning via first-round TKO.

Cyborg was very angry since her fight versus The Lioness was delayed over and over. She even threatened to leave UFC if they don’t allow one more fight in the meantime. According to Cris, nine months of waiting was simply too much. Despite Cyborg’s wish is fulfilled, she can’t be a two division champion at the moment, even if she wins the showdown. Unfortunately, the match is slated for a 145-pound title.

Cris Cyborg (20-1, 1NC MMA, 5-0 UFC) is one of the most dominant Muay Thai strikers in the history of UFC. She hasn’t been defeated for more than 12 years. Cyborg has only one defeat and three decision wins in her whole career! All other matches were KO or TKO victories! Amanda Nunes (16-4 MMA, 9-1 UFC) hasn’t felt the defeat since the match versus Cat Zingano at UFC 178 at September 27, 2014. What are your thoughts, who is going to be an ultimate winner?
