Brandon Vera vs. Jon Bones Jones is going to be the war of two guys that could sit in opposite rooms and still hit each other with their limbs. It goes without saying that both of these guys are perhaps two of the lankiest light heavyweights out there. It’s like their body was attached with a variety of extension cords. Cords that could smack you in the face and you could do absolutely nothing about it…except cry.
Bloody Elbow is now reporting that Brandon Vera vs. Jon Bones Jones is confirmed for March 21st in Denver, Colorado. We’re not even sure which UFC this, we simply cannot look this far into the future. Our flux capacitor is still broken and we’re not going to have enough cash to get it out the shop for a few months. If you guys want to contribute to our flux capacitor funds, feel free. We could always use your help in our pursuit of time travel.
This news was confirmed by a tweet (twat?) from Brandon Vera’s Twitter. However, after inspecting it, I see no signs of a tweet stating Brandon Vera will be fighting Jon Bones Jones anytime in the near future. Maybe he deleted it or perhaps we’ve been trolled by Bloody Elbow and MMAWeekly (which I highly doubt). Well, there you go. Bones vs. Brandon sometime in the near future. Hopefully Bones will lay off those 12-6 elbows, something I never knew existed until I saw it land on Matt Hammil’s face at the TUF 10 Finale. [Source]
