Brandon Halsey makes Alexander Shlemenko go to sleep against his will, wins the Bellator MW title

Brandon Halsey seems like a nice guy and all, a tough fighter, clearly a great grappler, but damn it, dude… I really wanted to see Melvin Manhoef vs Alexander Shlemenko. You’ve taken that from me, and if we don’t get that fight made within 3-4 months, I’m holding you personally responsible. All I wanted was to see Melvin Manhoef bounce around the cage while Shlemenko threw enough spinning shit to create his own personal field of gravity, one that only Melvin Manhoef can glide through with speed that kills and power that puts wild Hunts to sleep.

But nooooooooooooooooooooo.

You’ve got to take down Shlemenko, sink in the rear naked choke and then put him to sleep for the second time this year. The greater good was not looked out for tonight at Bellator 126, a new middleweight champion is crowned, and Shlemenko has lost. Yes, Brandon Halsey looks like he may hold onto that Belt for a long time, but unless he can perform a spinning rear naked choke it means little.

Nah, I’m just foolin’ around. Dude looked great and deserves all the success in the world even if he shattered my violent dreams. But seriously, we need Shlemenko to fight Manhoef like, next week or something.

Zprophet nabbed the replay of Halsey’s flawless victory.
