Stephan Bonnar received a helping hand from a fellow UFC alumni.

Bonnar recently lost his Henderson, Nevada, home after a fire destroyed it earlier this week. Fortunately, nobody from Bonnar’s family was injured.

However, the cause for the fire is still not known with the Henderson Fire Department currently investigating what could have led to the fire.

“Lost everything, house is done,” Bonnar’s wife Andrea said.

It’s a sad development for the UFC legend who has had plenty of struggles in recent years.

Stephan Bonnar: Tyron Woodley’s Donation Blew Me Away

While Bonnar is not one to ask for help, his wife Andrea did create a GoFundMe to help out with their new expenses.

And while it initially had only a few hundred dollars of donations, it eventually shot up thanks to former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley who donated $4,000.

Woodley would also help spread the word on Twitter.

That kind act from “The Chosen One” certainly caught Bonnar’s attention as he could only praise Woodley for helping him out despite only having met him a few times.

“As shitty as losing ur house & memories is I’m not the type to ask for anything,” Bonnar wrote on Instagram. “Unbeknownst to me, someone in my wife’s FB group opened a gofundme.. it was a few hundred this morning & went to $5k in a few minutes, mostly cuz of @twooodley.

“I only met Tyron a few times, and this just blew me away. Thanks to everyone who gave & huge God bless to Tyron.. Wow! You’re a great dude, much love bro!”

As of the time of writing, the GoFundMe has exceeded its goal of $10,000 which should help Bonnar and his family out.
