Bobby Lashley nearly signed with Strikeforce, could debut Nov. 7th

They say every time a bell rings Lashley devours another galaxy. If you crossed Bobby Lashley’s path, you would urinate over your khakis, go to the nearest ATM, withdraw all of your money…and give him your girlfriend as a sign of respect. Sort of like the Aztecs used to sacrifice virgins to the gods. In this case, ‘God’ is Bobby Lashley and your girlfriend is a figment of your sex deprived imagination. The Wrestling Observer has confirmed reports that Prize Fight Promotions are in the process of transferring Bobby Lashley’s contract to Strikeforce and that he could fight on the Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers card

Prize Fight Promotions, the company that TNA star Bobby Lashley is also under contract with for his MMA career in addition to TNA, is in negotiations to transfer his contract to Strikeforce and the chances of a deal happening looks good reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Lashley seemed to confirm these reports adding, “I believe that the deal may happen, but I’m just not sure when.” Scott Coker, one of the heads of Strikeforce, said that talks with Lashley at this point were just initial dialog and was waiting to see where things go.

His first Strikeforce opponent has yet to be announced but a few names have been tossed around (Galactus, Shao Kahn, Theory of Relativity…etc). After seeing Bobby Lashley manhandle Bob Sapp at The Ultimate Chaos, a dude that was 65lbs heavier than him, Im pretty sure Lashley’s only competition at this point would be if you sew together the bodies of six heavyweights and combine them to be like some freakish Frankenstein/Voltron hybrid.
